I miss watching the Gators play football in the Swamp but I still get to watch other games occasionally in NC. I have not been converted to a Tarheel or a Demon Deacon but the tailgating before the games has been great. Don’t ask me what the final score was on any of the games though:) !

I drove down to Florida recently for Kyle’s Senior Night. I watched him march in the UF Homecoming Parade and perform on the football field during half time of his high school football game. The band was really impressive! The photos don’t show how incredible the whole band looked as a unit on the field but at least you get an idea!

Since I started school later this year I was able to celebrate Kyle’s birthday with him for the first time in several years. The ice cream cake was yummy and the steak dinner was very delicious. I can hardly believe my little brother is in his last year of high school and driving:)!

After we left Boston, my mom and I drove up the coast of Maine. We visited lots of small coastal towns and ate delicious seafood everyday. We stuck our toes in the water but it was too cold for us to even consider swimming. We went on a windjammer cruise in Boothbay Harbor and visited the Calendar Islands in the Portand Bay. We also made a quick trip up to Quebec City before heading back to Boston and back home. I can’t pick a favorite spot but spending time with my mom for two weeks was a highlight! Enjoy looking at just a few of the over 100 photographs I took.

This summer I went on an incredible trip with my mom. We started in Boston. While we were there we visited Cheers, went for a swan boat ride in the Public Gardens(just like Make Way for Ducklings) and watched a concert in Boston Commons. We did a tour of the city and rode out in the harbor.

I spent a week at Holden Beach, NC at the end of June with some close friends. We were well-behaved and had a terrific time. Hopefully it will become an annual trip.
